CHALLENGE:

To facilitate a more dynamic interaction between the product and the potential customer over the web.

SOLUTION:

Ignition has created and delivered numerous website components that can be directly integrated with our clients’ websites. These have been required by our various clients to present their products as efficiently as possible while maintaining a dynamic interactive presentation.

HOW WE DID IT:

Using a 3D model template (CAD, preexisting models, 3D scanning, photography), Ignition has built optimized low resolution polygon models. Our team either photographically captures suitable ‘no-reflection’ textures or creates 3D shaders to simulate the surface’s attributes and applies them to the model. The final stage of creation is lighting which is often created as a HDRI spherical environment map. All are added, optimized and further refined to work within a Java/Flash environment.

Depending on our client’s requirements, our team has supplied additional services such as background design, Flash and Java programming to add such features as analytics (how the user interacts with the model or configures it), drop down menus, triggered animation (example, opening or closing the phone) and texture changes (color swatch selection, decal overrides).

Ignition works with our clients to ensure that the final deliverables can be easily integrated and implemented without additional work.
